First I thought you meant the Islamic rapper Propa-Gandhi. Heh.

Anyway, good review, I'll be checking this out.

EDIT: Damn, this is pretty good stuff. Cheers, rio, great recommendation.

No problem, glad you dig it.

If you are into catchy punk melodies combined with a shedload of musical intensity and invention, this is essential. I was going to plug this band at you but I see you beat me to it...

"Tertium Non Datur" is a hell of a track.

I'm gonna have to call bullshit on these guys, though, admittedly, that's based entirely on their myspace tracks.

....*bullshit*.

Added my score. Fuck this is awesome. I listened to it like 6 times in a row last night while playing civilization.

Have a couple of their older albums around, but not heard this yet. Must have a listen.

I grew up listening to these guys. From How to Clean Everything, Less talk More Rock, and Today's Empires Tomorrows Ashes, these guys have relased solid upon solid albums one after another. The only album i didn't dig was their last one Potemkin City Limits. As for their metal influence, i know for a fact that these guys are big Metal fans because i remember reading something about them being blown away yet again after another Napalm Death concert. Anyway, i'm looking forward to hearing this one!

Thanks a whole bunch for bringing this band to my attention. I love it. So energetic and uplifting. I love it. I've never heard something quite like this.

Heh, that's interesting. It doesn't surprise me that they dig Napalm Death. I guess they have a lot of the same lyrical ideas, as well.

Whoa, this seems a lot more Metal than I remember them to be. Good stuff.

This band seems neat. I saw an article on them in The Globe and Mail which I thought was slightly odd, but I guess I've never heard them so maybe not? I should check them out.

Not bad, overall (loved the hidden track) but overall it's just not my cuppa tea, not enough for me in my current drive of taste; all very well claiming to be punk, but beat demo-era Carcass or Napalm Death! Definitely fits on this site, however, surprisingly Thrashy and proof positive that they're a kickass band.

I'm not sure I quite understand your point, good sir Goat.

"They might claim to be punk, but beat these grind bands!"

Apples and oranges, surely?

Anyway, I recommend returning to this when you are feeling less true black metal, as you'll probably enjoy this more then.

Perhaps... I just crave extremity at the moment, and as decent as the 'gandhi are, they don't do It for me.

Seriously, if I was reviewing this now I would give it an extra fifteen points. When you get to the end of Last Will and Testament, you are thinking, well that's almost perfect... it just needed one little thing to crank it up to actually perfect. And then, hey, after five minutes of silence, how about a Black Widow cover? Yeah!

The Banger's Embrace is a tribute to Canadian thrashers Sacrifice. I should have mentioned in the review but I hadn't realised at the time.

Incredible album, their best by miles, and I cannot believe the idiot reviewing this only gave it an 85.

I've started listening to this again lately and it still kicks all kinds of ass. Amazing band. So much variety and originality. More people need to hear this.
