So is Witchery more Thrash or more Black?

I don't really know them, and you seem to get conflicting reports as to which way they lean.

I guess the presence of Jensen sparks my interest a little, though i'm not sure why exactly. Haunted haven't done anything sweet in a while.

Hard to say. They have moments in both genres, but when they're all out thrash it is awesome stuff. And by thrash I mean, neothrash.
