Ah yes, no shortage of metal bands paying tribute to Lovecraft.

How about Fireaxe - Lovecraftian Nightmares?

Cradle Of Filth do a lot of Lovecraft worship. They definately lean toward horror.

Ken you could always go to Metal Archives, select lyrical themes in the search options and type either horror or Lovecraft. I'm sure it'll give you plenty of bands to check.

Don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, because it's more horror-comedy, but there's a Swedish thrash band, F.K.U.

It stands for Freddy Kruguer's Underwear (except they use an umlaut on the U).

They all wear dirty red and green striped sweaters. A bunch of their songs have horror references. Their new track is even called "Twitch of the Thrash Nerve", as any Bava fans will surely notice...

I know it sounds ridiculous, but they're actually really sweet. Check out their myspace.

Can't forget The Ghastly Ones, which were a horror surf-rock band. Being a Rob Zombie nut you probably already know them though. I'm sure those guys have plenty of time these days to talk to someone, anyone willing to listen. :D
