So, after years of wishing someone would reissue Demolition Hammer, it happened a few months ago.

A wonderful "necrology" was released with all 3 of their albums on 2 cds.

I picked it up recently, and it's been crushing my skull.

So which album is best? I haven't included 1994's Time Bomb....i think we can all agree it's nowhere near as good.

I voted Epidemic of Violence. It's just so....impressive. In every way. At first I thought Tortured Existence was heavy and creative....and then I heard Epidemic. An unstoppable killing machine of an album.

I clicked Tortured Existence but I meant Epidemic of Violence. Both are great though.

I only see maybe 3 more people tops posting in this thread...

Yeah, I kinda thought it would be you....and well, maybe one other guy.

At the end of the day, though, if this thread convinces just one person to check out Demolition Hammer, I feel like I've achieved something.

If somebody checks out Demoltion Hammer because of this thread and not because Zad reviewed it, he will be very upset. Maybe start a thread dedicated to people "checking out" his reviews. Oh well.

Demolition Hammer owns your face. In the good kind of way.

I voted Epidemic of Violence although the only main thing I can think of that's different between the two albums is sound quality.

Lol...i was *JUST* reading that thread for the first time before I came back over to this one. Hilarious!

Anyway, you make a good point. Either one of these albums could do with a review. If not classic, then archive at least.

I agree. Some DH reviews would be sweet.

Have you heard of Gammacide?

Yeah, heard of them (thanks, classicthrash.com!)

But I never managed to find a copy of the album.

Definitely do yourself a favor and get it. If you like Demoltion Hammer, then you will love Gammacide. I got my copy off of eBay for like $11. I know a site where you can get it for cheap, but it is an american site...

Well, the exchange rate is good right now.

1 US Dollar is 80 Australian cents.

So if shippings not too extravagant, it should be ok. What's the site?

Edit: yeah, I'm just listening to some tracks on their myspace. Let's just call it a big ol' "FUCK YES".

I'm kinda surprised that The_Voice or Holy_Terror or Brahm_K didn't have any input.

Must be an underscore thing.
