Agreed about the synths sounding like crap on this album, although when I'm in the right mood they kind of fit with Manilla Road's vibe.

I'd totally like to see them have good synths on an album. I think it's more the programmed drums I have a problem with than everything else.

Definitely one of their most unique albums, and after The Deluge I see myself coming to this much more than that overrated Crystal Logic. The synths are cheesy but synths are more oft than not cheesy sounding, for this album it lent a lot of atmosphere for an album that is VERY different from the band's back catalog.
