Been watching Buffy season 5. It can't go back to its peak in the season 2-3 days, but it's a helluvalot better than season 4. And Riley's off the show! Woohoo!

I've recently become a fan of Everybody Loves Raymond. I bought the first season while in New York City yesterday.

Started The Wire again, mixing it with X Files season 3, rewatching Deadwood s1, and still have two more episodes of Dexter s1 and Buffy s1 to get through.

This will either add insult to injury or add a band-aid to the injury: I also watched a couple episodes of Sex And The City and thought it was okay (if a little trashy), although I'm not a fan.

Any brits been watching Psychoville?

Excellent. Like the League of Gentlemen but with the horror/viciousness level ramped up even further. Enjoying it a lot so far.

Dawn French as a dangerous lunatic! :)

My little brother showed me the trailer for that last night. Looks good, seeing as how I still randomly giggle at bits of LoG during important telephone conversations.

Started Buffy season 2 last night with the l'il sis. Fun stuff, Xander's still my favourite character so far.

Is The X-Files still good? Have only watched the first season, and I thought it was okay. I'm thinking about getting season 2. And if the show keeps getting better then I'm off to buy the box set with all of them plus the movies. Anyone seen them all? I don't want to loose money... but if I buy one after one it'll cost me a fortune.

Season 2 is an improvement on the first, I thought, and 3 is great so far... you have to be into it though, I recommend spacing your watching out as it's a show that's easy to get bored with but is great if you give it enough time.

Okay, thanks. :) That's actually what I did with the first one. I was watching Stargate Atlantis at the same time. But I think that is what made me not really get into it as much as I probably would have. When I didn't watch any Stargate for a while, I enjoyed X-Files more. I also see they have the entire The 4400 show in one box, which I haven't seen anything of... We'll see.

Well, if you dig Stargate (something I've always found a bit shitty) then you should enjoy X Files... The 4400 is great, but be prepared to swear and throw things when you've finished it and you realise that no more is forthcoming. I will say that I've been more into Deadwood and The Wire recently than I have the X Files, but that's probably as much down to my tastes as anything else.

What is wrong with Stargate Atlantis? It's probably the most varied show ever, plus the characters and the story is great. I agree if you mean the first show Stargate SG-1, as I think everything about that show is poorly done. But Atlantis is one of my faves. I don't think think I've seen much of Deadwood but I do remember the words "fuck" and "cocksucker" being repeated frequently. :D I've also been thinking a bit about The Wire. Is it about drugs and negros and that stuff? Not very into that, but the fact that it has an almost perfect score at IMDB makes me curious.

Deadwood is great. And The Wire has plenty of drugs and *cough* black people in it, it's a police v bad guys sort of thing, but very realistic and stuff. Might be better off getting into The Shield.

Maybe I'll do that. The Shield looks good... and I see they didn't cancel the show after only two or three seasons. Yay, a lot of time in front of the TV is ahead.
