well yeah france did make the black legions that is pretty bad.
but they have deathspell omega and blut aus nord that makes up for it all

I don't know how you could possibly call Nevermore a thrash band. Sure, they have thrash metal influences. But, then again, so do Iced Earth, Kamelot, and even non-metal bands like Weezer. Calling Nevermore a thrash band is like calling Friends a drama.

Rivers Cuomo has cited bands like Metallica as an influence on his music. Pinkerton, in particular, has a subtle thrash influence in songs like Tired Of Sex.
