last night i saw season 18 episodes 1 and 2 of The Simpsons and they sucked completely. i never saw the simpsons with much regularity, but i remember finding the show really good, just like the movie, but what i saw last night was just PURE SHIT.

I'm going to start watching Frasier more often. In a few months, I'll buy Season 1.

More or less, only this time there were AFRICANS! Fianlly we get some proper darky bad guy action. I hope I'm not spoiling anything by telling you that it turns out a cabal of rich white men were actually behind the whole thing! ZOMAG! But the difference is it was actually quite well done this time round, at least in the second half of the season. Looks like they took some of the criticism for season 6 to heart.

Season 2 of True Blood started pretty much the exact same as season 1 ended.

Noting happens for 50 minutes, then in the final 5 minutes something big happens just so you have to watch again next week.

Can't wait for next Sunday. Jason Stackhouse may be in some big trouble!

I've never seen Top Chef, but I can guarantee you that the original Iron Chef is better.

I love watching Rokusaburo Michiba's battles. He's clearly the best.

Started watching The Thick Of It, a very funny update of Yes Minister with lots of swearing and the scariest Scotsman you'll ever meet.

Have you seen In The Loop? (The feature length spin-off)

Great film, saw it a couple of days ago, by coincidence.

I haven't seen much of Michiba, but Hiroyuki Sakai is my favorite. I have a total man-crush on him.

Yeah it was really good (a little hard to keep track of what was going on, but I'm sure that was sort of the point), I've been meaning to start watching The Thick of It since but not really got round to it. Peter Capaldi = pwn.

Plus it's got Cannabis Corpse in it  :)

Oh, I wondered who that was! :D

It's a very peripheral role, Goat. Some of the characters go out of an evening in Washington DC to a gig of theirs.

Watched that Dead Set thing that was on a while back. Spectacular stuff, even to someone who's only just started investigating the wonderful world of zombies.
