I listened to this album just yestarday. Definite hit for me. This album, despite being Anthrax's "Black Album" is probably my favorite one by the band. Packaged Rebellion, Black Lodge, and Sodium Pentathol are three of the best songs the band has ever written. And even though it's more radio-friendly than previous Anthraxes, it's probably their most lyrically brutal record.

Complete miss. Everything Anthrax has done after Persistence in Time has ranged from mediocre to shit, and this is no exception.

Hit! Excellent album! Not anything like their earlier work, but good songwriting is good songwriting!

Hit! One of my favorites by them. I especially like the message of the album. "This is Not an Exit" completely slays!

Bush>Belladonna

I'd say miss. This was the first Anthrax album i listened to. The music is good, but the songs aren't that good. Most of the choruses are irritating. Packaged rebellion and sodium phenathol were good tracks. This is not an exit is a classic. Apart from those three, all the other tracks were bad. The lyrics were also nothing great. Poor song writing. I'd give this album 40/100.

Black Lodge is definately a great song, just too bad it was done by Anthrax.

God Anthrax sucks. Fistful of Metal was awesome. So was the Armed and Dangerous EP, but I can't say I like anything after that. They got to fucking goofy.

Hit! This was the first Anthrax album I ever bought, and I still really like it. It has some good guitar work, and some decent lyrics. I really liked Room For One More.

miss, although it's still imo, their best album with Bush.

Four years later, I still stand by my "Hit" rating. I'd say my overall favorite Anthrax album is a toss-up between this and Persistence Of Time.

He's an Internet Legend, I heard. Your jealousy is understandable.

this was my first encounter with the band my uncle gave the album to me when I was first looking into old thrash and it was slow I remember and the vocalist sounded a little more country he isn't bad but he's no Belladona. Its never a good thing to compare a new singer to the old, not to mention a lot of the riffs just arent as fun as Among the living. I still like the riffs for Room for one more hehe
