Well, metalcore of the style they play wasn't really around when they came out. Metalcore existed for years prior, but they were one of the early bands to fuse hardcore and thrash heavily with death metal.

Not that you could give two shits, but all the same.

Shadows Fall expect to have 11 tracks featured on their next release, "Fallout From The War". The outing is set to include six newly recorded tracks originally written during the sessions for "The War Within" album, plus some re-recorded b-sides and 3 covers when it sees a release this May through Century Media. Currently the tentative list of tracks for the effort are as follows:

I can't wait to hear that Only Living Witness album! They fucking ruled. I worked with the guitarist last year at a restaurant I was waitering at part-time, he was the bar manager and was basically a total dickhead.

That would be interesting, but I can't say I'm enthused over getting the scraps from an album I didn't care for.

Maybe they're awesome scraps that were only taken off the album because they were deemed too metal for the public. Yeah...that's it...

Well, it's been 5 years, and fuck me, this album is still awesome as hell.

Never been able to even try to understand the hype about this band. Not at all for me I guess.

i really liked the war within, its got some really memorable songs in my opinion and was one of the first metal cds i got my hands on back in 04.
