I sort of like Endstille, have an album somewhere, but I'm not sure I need another one. Any progression at all?

And have you heard Marduk's last album, Rom 5:12? They really made an effort to branch out, a pretty good move for them.

both bands are awesome, endstille don't need to alter there present metal course to keep being as good as they are.

No there is no progression with Endstille, as they never mean one. Their "no progression" style really suits me OK, as they do put in the state of measured trance. Marduk does not have that effect on me. I like some songs on the first 3-4 albums, then I have a gap of what seems like 10-15 releases of the same thing, and now, yeah, they are branching out, but it is too late for them to capture my attention. Heard Rom 5:12, and will give the next one a shot, but a lot of wasted skill in Marduk for my liking.
