For me the clinching factors are the vocal energy and the über catchy melodies, as well as the excellent production on Riot!

No, Season of Mist have signed both and a new Atheist album should be out this year.

He sounds like he's striving to be Anselmo in Splinters and it's lame. The guitars and rhythm have it down though and are soo tight.

Agreed that he is awesome, but I do think I prefer White's (Godfrey) effort on Breaking the Silence..
