I remember sitting in my Bio class listening to Obsolete, lots of good memories from this band. I honestly hope they get out of the stint Transgression muddled them in and they can make quality metal again.

Apparently Christian and Ray were surprised to hear about the new lineup. I smell a Sepultura vs Soulfly situation. Hopefully both FF and Arkaea will release better stuff...

Honestly I am glad that Christian isn't on guitar duty anymore.

Is it just me, or do I smell Anthrax?

lol. Some kid was shouting for Moonshield during a set of theirs a few years back, and that's what Anders had to say. I don't remember how he followed it up, just explained that he had played it a million times since they've started touring and didn't want to play it. It had my brother and I cracking up pretty hard.

They have played it on 2 sets I've seen them do though, granted that was back like in 2003-04.

I hope you all are still following this, because it's getting more ridiculous/hilarious day by day. The latest:

lol that's some serious business there, man.

I hope they get the shit sorted, and I'd like to see them keep the FF name if at all possible without too many more legal troubles. I think that Burton and Dino have the right to use it, but shit, if not, they can come up with Factory of Fear. Good enough.

I just hope the tunes are in order.

Wow, this is ridiculous. Maybe whoever doesn't get the name can call their new band God Factory...

Burton and Byron's side project, City Of Fire, have their new CD out soon.

Not bad from the brief sample there; hopefully it'll get the more mellow side of Burton out so the new FF (if it ever appears) will be killer.

Incidentally, strange there's been no further word from the Herrera/Olde Wolbers camp denying Burton's accusations. Maybe it was all true... crazy.
