And here's what don't like:

Sonata Arctica
Hammerfall
Edguy
Blind Guardian
Iced Earth

I'm a fan fon symphonic stuff like Kamelot and Serenity, and I really like Lost Horizon and Pyramaze and I will be very happy if you could recommend me something along those lines.

Ever tried Stygma IV? The Court of Eternity is a good album.

Cage comes to mind, not really symphonic though... Lemme think.

Evergrey (not purely power metal, somewhat proggy and a bit dark)
Heavenly
Manticora

I'll post more if I think of 'em.

Brainstorm (Very heavy and riff-oriented)
Evergrey (Like Frigid said, darker and more proggy)
Falconer (with Folk elements)
Highland Glory (Norwegian power metal in the vein of Iron Maiden, Running Wild)
Masterplan (With elements of hard rock and classic rock)
Rob Rock (Very heavy with powerhouse vocals)

Hope this helps. :)

EDIT: Ooops, now I see you wanted symphonic stuff. :D

Heard of Axxis ? If not try some of their latest - Doom of Destiny, Paradise in Flames or Time Machine. It's a bit cheesy though.

I strongly recommend Last Tribe. If you like the sound of the Allen/Lande project this is more or less the same (Magnus Karlsson). It's heavier, not so radio friendly and a bit progressive. Try their last one The Uncrowned. Review - http://www.metalreviews.com/reviews/detail.php3?id=1915

Early Mob Rules albums are great for symphonic power metal. Try Temple of Two Suns and Hallowed Be Thy Name for their faster period or Among The Gods and Ethnolution A.D. for more of a mid-paced sound.

Secret Sphere with Heart & Anger. Great album, one of my all time favorites. See the review here for more info - http://www.metalreviews.com/reviews/detail.php3?id=2790

Therion but I doubt you haven't heard them by now.

Thunderstone. Started as a Stratovarius copycat up until The Burning (still one of their best) and later developed their own sound which is much heavier with less keyboards. Try them if you haven't, they are one of the better finnish power metal bands.

Timeless Miracle. I don't know how to explain this band. I think Into The Enchanted Chamber was pretty unique. The review here describe them as Rhapsody meets Blind Guardian - http://www.metalreviews.com/reviews/detail.php3?id=2861

This should keep you busy for now. :)

Almost forgot about Dark Moor. I've been hooked on Autumnal for a while now. It's exactly what you are looking for. Tarot is also good though not on the level Autumnal is. Everything before is on my "albums to check" list.

I've been meaning to check out Stygma IV for a while. Thanks for the reminder Lucy. I'm not a fan of Evergrey, and I own dust to dust by Heavenly, but it didn't click. Will try it again. Will look into Manticora and Last Tribe at least, really like Allen/lande . Brainstorm is cool, I like them. I have an early Axxis album which I don't like at all. I also own Paradise in Flames which is very likeable. Will check out the rest, Pyro. Thanks. Keep them coming.

Dark Moor & Tarot are the ones that come to my mind... but they are not really new, sure you know them.

Axxis, Stygma(ta) IV & Manticora are good recomendations too.

Virgin Steele (Anything from The Marriage of Heaven and Hell Part 1 till now is a good place to start IMO)

I do know Dark Moor, and as far as I remember, I think I struggled a bit with the vocals. Where should I start with them? And Tarot for that matter. Heard of, never properly checked it out.

I meant the Dark Moor album Tarot, not the band. If you want to give Tarot a try start with Suffer Our Pleasures or Crows Fly Black. I didn't mention them because they don't have much in common with Kamelot or Lost Horizon.

Crows Fly Black is excellent.

+1. And Suffer Our Pleasures is great too.
About Dark Moor, my favs are the ones with Elisa Martin, The Gates Of Oblivion and The Hall Of The Olden Dreams. But the ones with Alfred Romero singing are good too, specially Tarot

I also like Kiuas a lot. Isn't Tarot somewhat similar to them?

I second this. Anybody who has not heard these guys must check them out. Yes the Marriage albums are good, but Invictus is where I recommend you start. This band should be heard and enjoyed by all power metal fans.
