Well, I like all of the singles of Rage Against The Machine's that I've heard. I like De La Rocha's rapping style quite a bit- he sounds angry and hateful.

Audioslave is like when you're trying to take a piss because you have an uncomfortably full bladder, and whenever you piss it hurts, but only a dribble comes out at a time until you've been standing there for a half hour, and you still aren't done. Meaning to say, the album they made is tedious and boring, and the new single, 'Be Yourself,' is the epitome of worthless ass-rock cliches.

WiC: Nobody gives a shit about your ridiculous hatred of black metal or your desire to profess the cruel ways of the world. I propose a forumwide 'Ignore WiC' campaign, in which we pretend he doesn't exist and ignore his posts.

I don't know too much from Audioslave, but I confess to liking Soundgarden, and Cornell has an awesome voice, period.
I met Soundgarden back in '96, and they are actually pretty cool guys.

Back to the topic, well i like Audioslave and as V. said Cornell's
voice is pretty fucking amazing. IMO Audislave is better than RATM.

Hearing those type of things is troubling, but like I said, such is the world... my daughter just got her orange belt, and is deducated to acheiving her black belt (Tae kwon do) so we are giving her the tools to deal with any threats from society, but like youy said back on topic:
Cornell and Thayil drink like fish... my wife and I along with a few others won a trip to Seattle to party with Soundgarden in some studio, in celebration of their last album, Down On The Upside...
they were drinking Jack like it was water, really cool, non-rockstar guys.

The way this flame war managed to spread all over the forums make the most aggressive spammers look like nerds trying to figure out how to turn their pc off without having Scandisk starting everytime they turn it on again...

I like RATM, and I like Audioslave too; I really don't think these bands should be compared, they are a different thing.

why would you want to study something which you are almost likely will never use? I would never waste my kids' life/time on such a useless activity.

actually, learning martial arts provides way more thing thatn just being able to self-defend yourself... confidence, balance, anger control... maybe you should try it, I would only love you more ! :oops:

from what I noticed people that have black belts are actually very angry and have serious issues, most likely cause they know they are tough, but the rest of the world doesn't know and doesn't care so it eats them up inside cause they have no way to show it.

then you don't know as many people as than you think you do... but I love you so it doesn't really matter :roll:
