The new video clip of "Six Times Dead (16.6)" can be viewed at the band's MySpace site:

In my opinion I don't think this is very promising. The chorus sounds flat and the riffs are uninspired.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that it's not the full video.

EDIT: There are a couple of tracks from the new album besides that video. :)

I have the new album, I must say that they have slowed down a fair bit. A lot of songs are mid-paced with more melody, almost ballad-esk. Haven't had a real good listen yet, but will say that it's about the same quality and style as New Religion.

Yep. Good album, but doesn't even compare to the first for or so. These guys have clearly mellowed with age. Shocking, really. Haha.

I'm not very fond of the direction the seem to be taking with new albums. On "Seven Seals" it all worked really good. But on the last album and these new tracks... no. Please get back to the sound of "Black Sun". On that album they toned down the speed and some of the Priest influences. The result was great and IMO Primal Fear's finest hour.

Doubtful that they'll go back. That's not generally how people work. At least they're still writing good music, despite its differences.

The melodic scream at the end of the chorus of Six Times Dead (16.6) was kinda of cool, despite the fact that I should be used to Primal Fear doing that by now. Not that enticing otherwise.
