Minor chords, suspended chords and ninths sound good in black metal. And 7th chords do work, they have like a floaty feeling....

Anyone noticed that like post-rock + shitloads of distortion and rasped vocals can equal black metal?

This whole episode has got to be one of the more bizarre ones in MR forum history. It ranks up there with Zad's alter ego (disemboweller I think?) or Seinfeld's, or Ken hacking random spam accounts. Good times.

Where's the interview?

It was sent via PM to Zad. Him and I came to the consensus that, seeing how juannaman is not part of the staff and we never requested an interview, that we wouldn't post it on the site. After this latest revelation, that seems like a solid idea in hindsight.

ha it's quite funny why i wanted to be a reviewer
there are a few reasons why

1. there will be a section on how trust works in these various groups and i was thinking that on this site the position where trust was mainly involved was in the reviewer role

2. it would have been funnny to review something totally gay like britney spears and insert it as a classic

3. some good albums were not reviewed like reek of putrefaction
