hmmm... i wouldn't call myself a black metal freak... yet. I still think i'm quite noobish :)

And yes, most on the list are masterpiece (if you were referring to me). I do a lot of research before buying anything.

(A lot of rubbish follows, and you don't need to read it, really. But it's kind of a short backgroundstory before i got obsessed by BM)

A year ago didn't listen to BM at all, and i just bought cd's without reading reviews. Therefore, i got lot's of worthless cd's, like St. Anger, all slipknot, Deftones and Korn. Yes i have actually listened to a lot nu-metal, even though i only enjoyed the growling parts (if they even existed in this kind of music). I also listened to some industrial and trash. I didn't know how death and black sounded like back then, and didn't know what to buy, cuz all the music i had came from a friend in the gymnasium (=highshcool). And i didn't though about changing lanes, also because... uh... u would be marked as crazy if you moved beyond nu-metal. I was talking to a very sweet girl, and she couldn't even believe i listened to slipknot. ha ha. Of course, i've always though i was missing something since i was introduced to Metallica at the age of 10, and now i just follow my own path, don't have any friends thats into BM  . And my cd collection has experienced a true metal holocaust, where all the really bad metal is thrown into the garbagecan. Still got some cd's that were used as a brigde from nu-metal to death, and to the kind of black metal i'm listening today. It's shouldn't be that difficult to quess what bm bands that is. Yes, that was my embarrasing backgroundstory.

You'll soon have, after some rough tens of posts I assume. My background story is even more embarrasing, I didn't even BUY the crap

Embarrassing backgroundstories are great to look back on, you'll realize how much smarter you've become in time!

Well there's a flipside and usually I only manage to see that. If you think what you were like back then and think you're smarter now then nothing stops you from actually still being dumb and only realising it in the future.

I guess u all right! But i really can't see how my taste in music can progress from BM. If i began to listen to more Brutal Death, than i already do, i think it would be a step back, since everthing about it is primitive IMO.
