Dunno about that. I'd say they're equally predictable.

I don't really care about this. I think Maiden should hang up the gloves. Post Brave New World, I haven't enjoyed them a whole lot. Definitely a classic band, legendary, but I'm not really feeling their tunes anymore.

But hey, what do I know. At the very least we know the album won't suck.

This will be awesome! Since the comeback of Bruce and Adrian, Maiden has delivered three killer albums in a row competing with everything they've done in the past, IMO.

Well I haven't listened to AMOLAD that much to be honest, despite having owned it since it came out but BNW was good and DOD I really liked-this could be great...possibly.

Well yeah no band can top iron maiden's classic albums not even them, but their latest records have been really good IMO.

No reason whatsoever to hang up the gloves. They play great. Bruce's voice is great still. And they still kick ass live. No, they're last three albums don't touch their classics, but they're still enjoyable to listen to. I look forward to this with the giddy anticipation I've had for new Maiden albums for over 20 years.

So is Motorhead and I am glad they are. At least I know their albums won't suck and I can blindly pick up them up. AMOLAD was a bit of a disappointment for me mainly due to the length of the songs and repetitive choruses. To me, that is the weakest album since Bruce's return. I think an album in the vein of AMOLAD with shorter songs and less repetitive choruses would be cool.

@Flickoftheswitch: WTF BIG AVATAR

I dunno about this, AMOLAD was good, but not great IMO. I think their last great album was Brave New World. But who knows, it may blow everyone's expectations out of the water.

I'm excited for the new album. Although I do hope they go back to their faster shorter style of songwriting personally. Even though Matter of Life and Death was a great album.

In your dreams...
It's going to be more of the same stuff they've been giving us since Bruce came back.
Let's just hope it's inspired enough.

I'm admitedly a fanboy, and I've been able to adapt to everything they've done. Their latest was good, although I consider BNW and DOD better.. Looking forward to this though. Will be cool
