Blaze is not a voice of Iron Maiden... But he's not crap.
Blaze, as a group, it's good, but as a singer in Iron Maiden, it's insignificant giving Iron Maiden career... but it's not his fault.

No, he doesn't. He's a good singer who sang on two maiden albums.

He is not THE voice of Iron Maiden.

But those two were the first two. The two that started the band. The two that helped make them what they are today. Too To two.

I agree with Fatpom. Bruce Dickinson will always be THE voice of Maiden. Paul Di'Anno never had the same vocal abillities, range, charisma or stage presence like Bruce. And that goes for Blaze too.

No matter how much of a cunt he is now, I wouldn't replace him on those early Sabbath records with anyone else.

And Barlow isn't overrated, he's an awesome singer with an instantly identifiable voice. Fact.

Ozzy is an incredible singer. Maybe not that technical, but he's instantly recognizable and comes up with great vocal melodies and lines that fit in with the equally recognizable guitar riffs. No way in hell is Ozzy overrated.

For the last fucking time, the fact that I like Nickelback doesn't detract value from my other musical opinions or statements. Enough with the goddamm ad homs!

Right, because you could replace Ozzy with any other singer on those first 6 Sabbath albums(Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die don't count) and they would have the same impact, huh. Ozzy's haunting and somewhat disturbed style fit in perfectly with what Iommi and Geezer were aiming for. I truly don't think anybody else could have pulled those albums off, and that's why the Sabbath sound changed when Dio came on board. He also put in an amazing and downright creepy performance on No Rest For the Wicked. Just because his voice is gone now doesn't change what he did in the past.

There's something of value in each music style, and if you keep arguing in that childish way you're just an asshole.

I'm sure they know how to sing I've never really listened, I was always too focused on watching the dancing.

I here agree with Eternal Idol & FrigidSymphony. Ozzy was a great singer, he's not overrated, and Black Sabbath first albums are incredible. His solo career is so-so, with great albums & forgeteable ones, and his voice is lost now, and he's an asshole. But his voice, his influence, is very important in metal world. He's not overrated.
Neither is Barlow.
