Good enough, yes. But as I said, very one-dimensional.

If you want to hear 24 hours of non-stop Metallica, then yeah you should.

I've got it mostly for Howard Stern. And becase there is no tape or cd player in my ambulance.

If I had to pick my favorite thrash metal vocalist, I think Keith Dean would win. He has probably the most original vocal style. He spits his lyrics out a frantic rate that sometimes has no discernable rhythm, and his voice varies from out of conrol screaming to almost Roger Daltry-eque wailing. he fuckin rules, nuff said.

In no order-

Chuck Billy
Steve Souza
Joey Belladonna
Tom Araya
Oderus Urungus

If anyone are Billy and Souza fans- check out Dublin Death Patrol. They're a thrash band with both of them killing it on vox.

steve souza sucks in that band frankly
come on he lacks melody in his voice and there is a strong crossover element in the music that doesn't go well with his voice and chuck billy's amazing performance just outshines him completely.

I'm a sucker for his voice (and Billy's) to the point where I like that band specifically because of those two. Souza is going to be on a new album from a new band called Tenet with some SYL guys and the like.

I wouldnt say Agent Steel is a thrash metal band...although on Mad Locust Rising they were pretty much Slayer with Bruce Dickinson singing....but if Agent Steel is thrash, then I'd say ADX is thrash also...in which case the singer from ADX should be on the list as well.

you're right, Agent Steel is speed metal indeed.

imo, John Cyriis>Phil from ADX, but as a whole, i prefer ADX the band to Agent Steel(although not by much). the 3 first ADX albums( Execution, La Terreur and Suprematie) are speed metal jewels, imo. sadly they've lost a lot of their ''charm'' when they signed to Noise records and recorded their 4th album(Weird Visions) in english.

True; but alas all these fine bands only lasted for a couple of albums . Why? : because french people are the single most un-metal people ever, and they didn't support their own metal bands; they do support crap like Gojira, but when we're talking serious traditional heavy metal, this country is a wasteland.
