I hope it's better than that clip so far. I can see him doing it all ambient and 'atmospheric', which would be facepalmery. Still, he said the album wouldn't all be like that, so fingers crossed.

wtf? That's Cedric? Seriously, you get Cedric to appear on your album, and that's all you have him do? I can't even tell those are vocals. I thought it was a guitar.

Still, that's one of the most ridiculously good songs on Blood Mountain.

I don't think it was really a planned guest spot. The Mars Volta just happened to be recording in the same studio, from what I gather.

Borknagar -- Rivalry Of Phantoms

I don't know why I like this band so much. They don't have any outright amazing albums or anything. I just love their style. Also, Colossus is one of the most awesome songs ever.
