You guys do know that Warrell Dane was in Sanctuary right? I mean arguing that Nevermore is Thrash is silly, but Warrell Dane did sing some Thrash Metal.

They've been on my check-out list forever, must get around to hearing them.

They're pretty good. It does sound kind of like Nevermore, not surprising since 3 members made it to NM, but it's a lot Thrashier. Nothing really outstanding, just really solid stuff.

I know how you feel about downloading stuff, but these albums have been out of print forever. Unless Metal Mind decides to reissue them, which they might, that's pretty much your only option.

I know I've seen at least one of them on amazon.com

They both are on amazon.com.
Used and at about $20. Quite expensive for an used cd imho...

Expensive for used, yes. But also very hard to find and are worth it IMO.

Well as my list may suggest, I like the raspier growlier types. But, I do like the guys who can sing to... see Mark Antoni. Your list is good, and I enjoy listening to them all. The only one that I am not really familiar with is Alan Tecchio. I have only heard one Hades album and nothing from Watchtower... i know shoot me

Oh and Eric from F&J is awesome, I don't know why or how I left him off my lists...

i cant believe i originally had F&L, so stoopid

You should definitively try Watchtower's Control And Resistance, it's a great technical thrash album, one of the best actually...

About thrash singers, I think Realm's Mark Antoni would be sixth on my list, great voice! :dio:

I see what you did there...

Watchtower is definitely on my list, I think what scared me away from them is a few years ago when I was really getting into thrash I read that Watchtower was progressive metal. And the scared me away. At the time I couldn't get enough of the Kreators/Sacrifices/Exumers/Darknesses of the world. So anything slower and progressive made me stay away. Now, even though I may not act it, I am more mature. And Watchtower has been suggested to me by several people. It's just the matter of getting it...

You can still download it and hunt it down if you liked it (and I think you will)...

And Progressive Metal scares me away too. Useless wankery that is! :lame:

On the other hand, downloading to discover something then buying it (if you liked it) IS very metal!

But that takes the fun and surprise out of buying something new. There is nothing better than getting a new album and listening to it at home or in your car. That right there is metal.

I wasted so much money on so many albums I came to regret bying that I prefer spoiling the surprise than having something I won't listen to anymore, ever.
And don't get me wrong, I hate people who only download their music. I, myself, buy a shitload of music. It's just that I'm cautious now. Maybe I'm getting old...

Yeah I guess I can agree with you on the 'ive bought a lot of shit and now am more cautious' bit. But that's why I like buying from amazon to, because you can just read the review before clicking the check out button. The only problem with buying online is the damn wait for it to arrive.

Quite the "mainstream" choice but they are (or were) all good singers indeed.
