I like Blood Tsumani. I really don't find them boring, thing that happens with a lot of retro-thrash bands. But they are not experimental, by any way.

Thrash is not really an experimental genre as a whole, but there're bands like Mekong Delta, Coroner or Voivod (or Mordred).

No it's not funny to read unsuccesul sentences like that it's tiresome and makes me doubt your seriousness over and over again look my english may not be the best but you need to break up your sentences a little else more and more people won't read it and by the way I thought Gwar was some Lordi copy or the other way around isn't Celtic Frost early black metal as someone suggested I haven't heard Vicious Rumours what are they like

Well, my english really sucks, but at least I try to do the best I can, and I put effort on everything I write.

No, how about this.
Do you like short structured sentences?

Blood Tsunami aren't bad, but they're not a band I would defend by saying others are trying to sound like Slayer. I find them generally mediocre like most of the rest of new thrash, it's just that for me mediocre thrash is still good music, so I'll probably continue to listen to them.

I finally listened to Hexen for the first time and I can see what those who have mentioned them here mean. Awesome, thoroughly headbangable stuff. They sound to me what Bonded by Blood was trying for but fell kind of flat, which coming from me is saying a lot since BbB was one of my favorites of this movement until I listened to Hexen.

@metal_xxx - GWAR came long before Lordi. I can see that someone wouldn't call them thrash, but I definitely wouldn't call them NOT not thrash... Their earlier stuff has some crossover/hardcore elements and there newer stuff has some coreish parts. War Party is a good album, but in general the band exists only to be seen live, and everyone should see them live at some point. And for relevance to the thread: I saw them supported by Municipal Waste. One of the most fun shows I've been to that wasn't ska.

Do you have to like Blood Shitsami to have any understanding of thrash? Listen to Exumer, Vendetta, Overkill, Assassin, Deathrow, Heathen and Forbidden and come back later.

It's fine to like them or not like them, but to call somebody stupid or say they don't know anything because we don't like them is pretty friggin' retarded.

Yeah, most of these new thrash acts are getting old pretty quick. The firt spin is like "wow! good riffing" then the second comes and it's like "well, nothing new really".
I think the more consistent of these is Rumpelstiltskin Grinder but them signing to Relapse (a quality label) sure was a hint they were different...

That resumes the situation very well...

Juannaman, DW or The voice are two of the better thrash experts of this site. Saying that one likes or not a band doesn't mean nothing, it's just an opinion.

And that is your opinion that not everyone on this site agrees with. Just because we don't agree with you doesn't mean we are dumb or stupid.
