DsO isn't overrated. They're ungodly. Agreed on Arghoslent though, I didn't like them too much...

I have. It was yawn. I'll dig it out again later since everyone seems to be digging it.

Why?
I was also bored with it, as well... too Death metal-like for my taste.
One of those overrated bands that everybody raves about (DsO, anyone?) that I just cannot seem to dig that much.


I can understand not liking them but I can't understand thinking that they are "bog-standard" dm. Whatever people may think of it their sound is certainly a distinctive one.

Eh, not at all. It's Bolt Thrower with less intensity and more melody. If not for the racist tag, none of you would be listening to them. I review better stuff most weeks.

No, expressing your opinion is what is expected. Expressing someone else's opinion for them is the behaviour of a patronising tosspot.

Shocking that none of you are into these guys. Tool plus Marduk plus Doom plus mentalism = one hell of an album. Fingers crossed for the new album.

I admit I can be pretty blunt at times... IRL it has got me into some scrapes. Some people even go so far as to consider me a bit of an arsehole but it isn't really true. I don't really think you are a patronising tosspot, anyway.

Anyway your band sounds like fun so I shall make sure I listen to them.

The new Senmuth.

Has anybody heard of this project at all? I hadn't but was just wondering if I was the only one who didn't know it.

It's some Russian guy doing metally electronica that reminds me of Thy Catafalque (although not as good as that)... still kind of interesting though and he has like 40 albums out.
