I liked the Cancer. Yes simplistic, but reminded me of a combo between Death and Obituary.

Brutality was cool, I need to listen to that again.

Brujeria was different. The spanish threw me off, it was like they were talking and not singing. But talking with a growl. Twas weird, but I did enjoy it for the most part.

Other old death metal I've been listening to since my last post:

Comecon - Megatrends in Brutality
Crypt of Kerberos - World of Myths (this is cool)
Cyclone - Brutal Destruction
Deceased - Luck of the Corpse
Demigod - Slumber of Sullen Eyes
Demilich - Nespithe
Desultory - Into Eternity

currently NP: Crypt of Kerberos -- World of Myths (the song)

Ah man, CoK, Deceased, Demigod, Demilich and Desultory are all good. Not heard Cylone or Comecon, what are they like?

Comecon is a pretty straight forward old school death metal, which is good in my books.

Cyclone is actually a thrash band that I mistakenly put in that list, they are all right.

And because of your review I downloaded Trady Brothers, it's pretty good so far. I am liking it. Still early in the album though...

Arghoslent. Bloodbath. Augury. Akercocke. Odious Mortem. Atheist. You should've heard all of these before but with you who knows.

NP: Big Business - Grounds for Divorce.

Prepare for disappointment with Arghoslent. Bog-standard Death Metal with added racism that they haven't even got the bollocks to admit to, yay.

Bog-standard? Can you not recognize a good riff or what?

It's like NWOBHM with harsh vocals. Have you at least heard the newest one; it's probably their best.

I have. It was yawn. I'll dig it out again later since everyone seems to be digging it.
