Although they have good songs here and there, I've always been disappointed with The Sword's full lengths. There are zillions of Stoner/Doom bands out there that write better songs and have less exposure than these guys.

the only one i can think of is Sahg

contrary to the review, one of the things i liked most about this was the general looseness and un-tight performance of the band. combined with the awesome songs and riffs, it makes it such a murky and fun album to listen to

Saw these guys live... Not exactly the best live-band, but it sounds like something that would sound cool on CD... Haven't heard this one yet though.

I couldn't make it through this album, or their other one. It just didn't click at all.

They fucking bore me. Zad is right. Better, less famous bands are out there.

I thought they were fairly decent live (opening for Metallica), but their CDs are pretty lackluster.
