Having enjoyed Smear Campaign and other NP albums I'm looking forward to the new CD.

I fail to enjoy them as much as I want to.

I don't see how. An amazing band that keeps bending the rules yet staying strictly within fans expectations. That's a balancing act most bands only dream of, and ND does it effortlessly. Maybe you should go check them out the next time they play near you, as their live performance is what converted me. Just don't blame me when you wind up breaking your neck.

In my top 3 of 2009 so far. Procrastination On The Empty Vessel is the standout track for me.

Like they would come to my area.

What album should I start out with? I don't hate what they do; it just doesn't amaze me. I'm sorry. I really would like to enjoy them.

What have you already listened to? I'll be buying this album in the next couple weeks. ND is extremely reliable so I'm sure I'll love it.

Scum, Enslavement to Obliteration and this one. I know they change with every album so I'm missing a lot.

Yeah. Check Fear Emptiness Despair, Harmony Corruption and Smear Campaign out. FED is their best mid-nineties experimental album, HC is an awesome straight-up Scott Burns Death Metal abum, whilst Smear Campaign is the best of their recent stuff.

The Peel sessions are so funny!

OFF TOPIC (but not that off since the band featured a ND member), has Godflesh ever been reviewed here? Ho, and Scorn too (Mick Harris :dio: ). The people need reviews of these bands!

Godflesh has, I think it was Aaron that did a Classic of Streetcleaner. Don't think Scorn has, though. One of them, think it was Harris, had a project called Old Lady Drivers which has always sounded quite interesting, heard them Mr Son?

Nope... I'll try to find more info and, possibly, some music though.

Harmony Corruption is awesome, but the production is pretty bad, just FYI. I would highly recommend Smear Campaign and Order of the Leech, despite the undeservedly (IMO) negative review for the latter on this site.

Why, does Cincinatti have a ban on Grindcore bands or something? I mean I live in the armpit of West Texas, there's literally nothing here, and they came and played with Exodus in 06. Anything's possible.

The only close venue was bought out by my university. They now cater to college students, ie: no metal. Two good concerts in the last year.

I assume you mean Bogarts? I noticed their concert roster sucking recently, and was wondering why.

Yes. Yes I am. I didn't realized you lived in Indiana. Opeth/High on Fire and Dimmu/Behemoth is all that's been around lately. I think Gwar came but it was awful opening bands.
