Signum Regis was founded by the bass player and songwriter Ronnie König in 2007. The idea to form this band came, when he realized that he is writing various kinds of songs, which often do not fit under the flag of his original heavy metal band called Vindex. Signum Regis focuses on melodic metal with neoclassical elements and shredding guitars. The sound is an interesting combination of Ronnie’s style of composing and his main influences for this kind of music: Yngwie Malmsteen, Rainbow, Impellitteri and Helloween
