Certainly pretty strange so far...

The first time I heard that song I was like "holy shit" when the bass came in after the acoustic intro...

I was like "holy shit" throughout the entire album, more or less.

i remember when i first heard Cygnus Vismund Cygnus i was like "this is popular " then i stopped listening to the album before i got halfway through it

but Frances the Mute is soo good

listened to Jethro Tull - Songs from the Wood and Estradasphere - Palace of Mirrors. Tull are a good example of a 70s band i wish had released one great album every 2-3 years rather than a pretty good one every year. and i forgot how amazing Estradasphere are. happiest music ever, in a way.

R.E.M - Accelerate

Whoa, they've gone all Rocky. Loving this, they sound like recent Pearl Jam with a bit of that classic REM sound. Always liked their stuff, but this is great. Might even review it.

Meshuggah -- Disenchantment

I love the vocals for the first three tracks. That wierd sort of echo effect is chilling.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Mercy Seat

I love this song, I love the moody and continually building atmosphere and the lyrics are fantastic.

One of my favorites. I would love to see it live.

Extreme Noise Terror - Being And Nothing

AAAARGH! As a prelude to their new one. Still the noisiest buncha bastards ever to come from my home country.

I've had it on my HD for a couple of years.
I haven't listened to it for awhile, though.
Been on a Thrash revival lately.

I see you are going through Sabbath Bloody Sabbath; IMO their best album, and one of the coolest album covers ever.
I remember getting sent home from high school because of that t-shirt, haha. You should have seen the look on the Vice Principals face when he saw it. Dismay and disgust about sums it up.
