NP: Sepultura - A-Lex

Awesome! The experimentation is integrated much better than on Dante, and although it's still Thrash with Hardcore, so everyone'll hate it, it's brilliant. I'd go so far as to say it's better than the Cavalera Conspiracy album.

I wanna get this just for the concept alone. Truth be told I prefer Derrick Green to Max as a vocalist, so I hope your praise is justified :P.

The one thing wrong so far is that it's a bit long, and doesn't flow very well. This is one listen in, though, so take a pinch of salt.

It's long and I've never liked the idea of interludes meshing with the hardcore but they're a lot more successful on this album than Dante. I'd put the album over the latest Cavalera Conspiracy and not too far behind Soulfly's latest. When it's awesome, it is awesome though. Some of the best songs sung by Derrick Green are on this album.

Saprogenic - The Wet Sound Of Flesh On Concrete.

Holy cashews, this is a killer album. Although it should be called 'The Wet Sound Of A Trivium Fan Shitting Himself After Hearing Those Goddamn Awesome Crushing Guitars'.

God, those guitars...

Rush - Counterparts
Primus - Tales From The Punchbowl

Took me a while to get into both, but both are great.

This such a fantastic album. The manner in which the guitars were recorded and mixed is great. :dio: I miss this band!!

cmon... lets face it, Ultra Beatdown, despite all the cheesiness and a terrible album title, was actually pretty good :P

Your six monthes late for that argument. Even for them that album was bad. And worse than their first two.

Been listening to some Anthrax and Dark Angel. It's been pretty awesome.

I know I'm late, but I merely lurked the forums back then... I did not participate. I just brought it up cause I was listening to it.
