Hey guys, here's a little whoring about my band.

We started out in early January 2008 and we really aren't certain about the EXACT genre we play. That's because my vocalist is a brutal death fan, my guitarist a thrasher, me (bass) an ol skool heavy metal and black metal fan and my drummer is an all out black metalhead. And we've never really made a decision on what to play exactly. So if you listen to our songs you would find traces of our favourite genres all blended together. We're not one of those types who coin new, weird genre names, but since we downtune our guitars and have growling vocals, I guess death metal seems to be an apt label.

We had a lot of fuck ups during our recording but we're slightly happy that we managed to come out with a recording. We've just released our EP entitled 'Exsanguination'. Here's a creepy fact, we came up with the title a few weeks before the recording and during the recording, we were talking about the great Stevie Ray Vaughn, what a talented musician he was etc. And after the recording we found out that SRV actually died of exsanguination. All of us just went "Owh,...now that's a coincidence...but it's still creepy'.

Our songs are up on our myspace at www.myspace.com/bloodlegion666 Do check it out and give us your feedbacks. A number of the tracks were one takes because the engineer fucked us up financially, so if you do notice the mistakes, please don't write us off so soon, guys. We're improvising on the songs and hoping for a better production (with a better budget:P) in the future. Exsanguination is our first recording both as a band and individually as members. We learned a lot and hopefully our future takes would be better.

So do go through our myspace, if you like it and wish to get a copy, do drop me a message.

Cheers!

Gonna give you feedback on every song here Hellraiser...

Seven: Good idea, would've sounded good with proper porduction. No doubt. But dude, the drummer is way off almost everywhere. The vocals is pretty well executed, but the guitar sound could be a little heavier.

God of Lies: Much better, but still sloppy drumming. Did you record with a metronome going? If not, consider doing that next time. I'm hardly noticing your bass though, but that could be due to my bad speakers. The guitar is also kind of low, but the overall sound is better.

Blood Legion: Tighter production on this one and tighter playing. Improvement. Again good vocal performance, and again a little sloppy drumming, but overall much better.

Plague: The drums drown everything but the vocals. THe vocals sounds somewhat locked up here, sounds like a cool riff.

MMFH: Heavy metal inspired riff? Cooll retro guitar sound, but doesn't the genre very well now does it? YOur best songIMO.

Listen. I'm not out to bash you guys, but there are a lot of stuff that could be improved here, and you should use a metronome when you're recording. Another tip is not to release stuff until your perfectly satisified with it yourself, I know that you know that this isn't flawless, and you know yourself that you'd rather present it to the audience as it should be. I hear that you guys can play, but you should tighten up a bit and rehearse a bit more before hitting the studio again.

Hey man, thanks for the feedback. We noticed the flaws and we're definitely gonna polish it. About the metronome, that's a silly thing we didn't do. We recorded at a friend's studio because he was a friend and we realised that he lacked many basic equipment, including the metronome. It was a bad mistake we made and frankly we learned a bitter lesson out of it.

But thanks for the comments, man. Keep em coming!

Whoa, I'm getting an old-old-old-school Sepultura meets young Deicide vibe! I like it. It's not original, and as metalxxx said the drumming's off, but it has charm and attitude.

Ah thanks, man. The drumming's off and we realised it. But this is just a demo/free ep at the moment to tell everyone what we're about. We'll definitely fix things for our next recording. The old school vibe? We're all about old school, man. :D

Well, I really like MMFH, it's by far the best song. The rest are ok, but not really impressive. And the drums needs to be improved the next time.

Those vocals are fucking awesome. I quite liked it, but as others have mentioned the drums are a bit iffy.

Very cool though man!

Ah updates! (as if anyone's gonna bother :P )

We just finished recording two songs for our split CD with Crackdust http://www.myspace.com/crackdust from Botswana. Amazing, even I didn't know they had bands there.

At the moment we've sent the recordings back to the producer as we weren't thoroughly happy with it. But in about 2 weeks we should be getting them back and if it's all go, we'll sending it to our label, Bloodbath Records (Jpn). We really owe Kimura (the owner) a big one. First, agreeing to print and produce the CDs and second, being patient with us for so long.

Anyway, I'll let you guys know once it's all done. TRADING TIME! Haha!
