So, Zad, I know you're saving your Top 15 for the main page but are you going to post Top 5s?

Aw man, we can't start unlocking and relocking threads just because people haven't gotten their act together in time. There was plenty of warning, and since we're actually in the new year now...

Its not like I didn't get my act together, its just that I had a shitload of albums to listen to, and not much time to do so. I just need a few more days, and i'm sure there are others who also need the extra time...

I don't see why we can't keep them open a little longer. I know you want to get started on results, but it's not like we're that anxious for them. I mean, last year we didn't hear word for a month after voting was over. Plus, take Silent Man's case. He was without internetz for a month. Give it another couple days.

No, sorry. The deadline was set, and plenty of people knew about it. I freed up today deliberately to work on this; I go back to my day job tomorrow, will probably have piles of stuff to do, and I simply can't extend the voting time and hope that I'll magically have everything done next week or whenever you want the extention until. I'm sorry you didn't ready your votes in time, but I don't see how it's our fault.

Not blaming you at all, just looking for some leyway, i know there are a few who also have missed out.

If you are worried about not being able to do all the tallying, palm it off to someone else to do....shit, even I'll put my hand up to do it if it means I can get another few days....it can't take too long can it?

+1. I only finished hearing Draconian's Turning Season Within yesterday, for example. There are just too many albums. Ah well.

We are in 2009, guys. What, we have to delay the 2006 awards because, hey, LOADS of albums were released then and no-one could have possibly listened to them all back then?

Good point. Actually for me it sucks because the majority of albums I was hearing last year were older/classic ones like Still Life, Don't Break the Oath and In the Nightside Eclipse.
