What an amazing band.

This is what the Immortal side project "I" was aiming at and didn't get right in my opinion. A true mix of a lot of great metal styles done right.

I got the cassette of "tower of spite" a few months ago and this album is killer. Really some of the best thrash I've ever heard.

Any one else a fan and how is their other material?

I also liked "I" a lot, so I'll have to listen to this.

More info for those interested:

A Mix of Speed Metal, Doom Metal, Thrash, Punk, with vocals almost identical to "I" with amazing guitar solos.

Reminds me of how hammerfall write material, it comes off sounding so familiar but you can't nail down where they got the riffs from.

Typical (in a good way) genre bending roadracer records type of stuff.

You aren't going to find it on rapidshare or anything like that. So maybe getting people into them isn't gonna happen. BUt still shocking no one has listened to these guys.

Excellent news. Thanks for the tip. I looked for a while about six months ago with no luck. I own a copy on cassette. So I can actually legally download something for once that isn't an old Xentrix album.

Thanks. :)

I got Tower of Spite on cassette when it came out and loved it then. Culte Des Mortes is a monster song! I was able to get ahold of the Box set of these guys that Metal Mind put out a couple years ago. It's called Products of Disgust and it has all there albums in it. It is REALLY good.

I'll have to see if I can find that boxset somewhere then. I think this band should have been much bigger than they were.

I think if they would have come out in the mid-90's they would be icons by now.

If they had a different vocal style they probably would have tapped into the thrash metal market more. I'm sure Mercyful Fate had that problem too.

I guess that's a bit of an issue for people that are into a certain niche of a genre. If you try to please extreme metal and thrash fans, you'll please only those that love both.
