Which band is the best Bay Area Band. My vote should be obvious. Disregard the fact that not all of these bands are technically from the Bay Area...you know what I mean.

I've always been a huge Exodus fan, so there you go.

How long before someone says he forgot a band.

Metallica with Megadeth as a close second.

If we could include LA, though, I'd vote Dark Angel.

Edit: Holy shit I just realized Megadeth wasn't an option.

Too hard.

But I went with Vio-Lence. Exodus and Slayer were also creeping in my thoughts. Eternal Nightmares is friggin' awesome, and from what I've heard people say some of their other albums are better. So yeah, they get my vote.

But I'd also like to say that Overkill or Megadeth would of probably got my vote if they could of been/were listed.

Testament and close behind is Heathen. Haven't heard Holy terror or Death Angel.

Check out Death Angel's the Ultra Violence, and from Holy Terror, both albums are very good. I must say I prefer Holy Terror over Death Angel anytime.

Heathen, with Holy Terror and Vio-lence as close seconds and thirds. Though I'm sad you didn't include Dark Angel on this list... Oh well, Heathen would still win for me anyway. No other band mixed thrash and melody and good songwriting so well.

I would pick Exodus if they had stopped after Bonded by Blood, but as it stands, I have to think about it... Might pick them anyway...

Exactly, bonded by Blood is my favorite Thrash album, but the other ones just weren't good enough. I don't like their so called "classic" Tempo of the Damned either. This site reviewed Tempo 99 and Bonded 98 ??????? :omfg:
