Who says Jesus can't be metal??? Check out their self titled release and their 3rd album: "Scrolls of the Megilloth" and tell me what you think.

I've got 3 albums and 1 live album by these guys. So I guess that makes me a fan.

I have: Hammer of God, Relentless, and the forementioned Scrolls...the live album is called 10 Years Live Not Dead.

There is a song on Hammer of God called God Rulez. As cheesy as it is to hear him yell God Rules over and over again, the song it self is a good death/thrash song.

Christian music in general can be quite cheesy. But I look for musicianship more than lyrics when I listen to metal.

Yeah well I can't give a shit on the lyrics. They could be saying hail satan over and over again or saying god rules. I could care less. As long as the music is good.

These guys are awesome. Scrolls being their best album. I plan on reviewing some of their work down the road.

After listening to some songs, yeah, they're pretty good, but the lyrics are just hilarious. So ridiculous that I can't take them seriously at all.

But if I ignore the lyrics, then they're pretty enjoyable.

If you think this is cool. Check out Horde. It's a 1 man band from Jayson Sherlock. Their drummer from the 1st 3 albums. It's the first Christian Black metal or Unblack metal album. The lyrics are cheesy but it's got great quality... It's a very rare album so search hard. It's called Hellig Usvart...
