I would say '00s although late 90's had tons of good stuff too. Hell, look at '99...maybe my favorite year for music ever. Agaetis Byrjun, Pale Folklore, Alive in Athens, Black on Both Sides, and not to mention Metropolis Pt. 2.

Yeah, probably my favorite rap album. Mos Def is so badass it's not even funny. Although apparently his newer stuff isn't as good :(

The 80s, definitely. There is something golden about the 80s era. You have Maiden, Kreator, Sodom, Megadeth, Slayer and so many other kick ass bands from that era. Dunno, that era just seemed a much more powerful era for metal than the post 90s.

That is a very close call between the 90s and 00s. But I'll stick with the 90s because that's the music era that brought me into Metal in the first place.
