it's an origin album. a good origin album, but no more than that.

very outclassed by ENT's last album in 2002.

Nah, this has an epic 'space monster eating you' vibe that few others can reach. Certainly not ENT, as good as they are.

Such an awesome album. I probably shouldn't have listened to it in the car the first time :P But I mean, Jesus Christ, this is kick arse :dio:

These guys know how to play their instruments. Such a good album.

I just remembered I have that album. Revisiting it's absolutely mind-blowing. "One Truth One Hate" is so chaotic.

Antithesis is great though. I like how they sometimes slow down and chill for a bit, ..."Decimation" was just a bit too intense to be enjoyable.

I've had this one for nearly 4-5 months but sadly never commented on it. In short, this was kind of an ear-opening experience for me. Previously the most technical death I had enjoyed was Nile and Cryptopsy, but these guys take it a bit further while still preserving some kind of melody or pattern you can follow. The sweeping arpeggios are simply scintillating. Perfection indeed (at least for me).

I have been playing it a lot more recently. Not a weak track on the entire album.
