All I know is Tankard will be out mid-December and Kreator will be out mid-January. Shall be a good holiday season.

So, the new Kreator is officially completely awesome. The thrash is more overt, the riffs are better, the Gothenburg elements much better integrated and better written. Best Kreator album since Coma of Souls? I think yes!

And come on, who can't headbang to that awesome chorus? HORDES OF CHAOS! HORDES OF CHAOS! EVERYONE AGAINST EVERYONE, CHAOS! Daaaaaamn.

And now I'll finally get around to listening to the new Tankard. But we're at the end of the year, and I feel like I haven't been trying as much new thrash as I usually do each year. Does anyone have any recommendations for thrash this year besides the new Destruction, Testament, Metallica and the albums in this thread?

Oh yes, I forgot that I have checked out Gama Bomb's new album, but I have not listened to Hexen before, so thank you!

Guillotine! Both Under the Guillotine and Blood Money need to be heard.

I have now the Kreator and it's IMO great. Especially the speed which is mostly very high but also some Iron Maiden melodies are fantastic. At the beginning of "Demon Prince" it wouldn't be surprising if suddenly Bruce Dickinson begins to sing, but then it switches to fast thrash with pure fury without any warning. Unbelieveable...

I listened to the title track on Youtube. Got my ass kicked.

"EVERYONE AGAINST EVERYONE!"

I'm very impressed with the new Kreator album. I bought it last week and I can't stop listening to it. It's a dynamic album. Most of the songs have their own identity and have a catchy hook or riff in it. Well done. :dio:
