Or that it is a little odd that Obama's CoS would volunteer to assista foriegn army while his homeland is at war?

They make up roughly ten percent of the population, so that means that @ 90% of Obama supporters were non-black.
Whites comprise 70% of the population, so it is safe to say that the majority of Obama supporters were white. Strange, whites are deemed racist for voting McCain. Yet, somehow, blacks are exempt from this standard.

I was trying to point out that masses of blacks voting democrat isn't new. People continuously think it was like that this year because Obama was black but that is completely wrong.

The "zionist/Israel" lobby is very real, of course, as should be obvious to anybody who watches any mainstream US politician talking about foreign policy. That is prety self-explanatory.

V has already pointed this out, but there are just as many christians as jews who are unquestioningly pro-Israel, if not more. In fact, now that I think of it I'd bet my house that there are far more Christians who are unquestioningly pro-Israel than there are jews. There are also a lot of jews who are pro-Palestinian.

So yes, the idea that there is a uniquely jewish lobby that determines US foreign policy is conspiracy theory bullshit.

So, by my calculations, using yours and CotB's figures, 9% of blacks switched to voting democratic under Obama.

There was about a 5% swing to the democrats overall- (Kerry got 48%, Obama got 53%, I think)- so by an extremely unscientific and arbitrary method we can hypothesise:

87% of blacks vote democrat anyway.
5% of the black vote swing to Obama is consistent with the overall national average.
That leaves 4% of black votes for Obama that can't be explained by the above two factors.
