Who did you vote for?

Neither; I don't buy the illusion of the two party system being one of choice. If I get out to vote, I will pencil in Ron Paul.
If you have never even been here, how can you with any trace of a straight face claim to know anything about it?
Talk about "facepalmingly stupid generalisations and other silly things that you say"...
do you enjoy being perpetually hoist to your own petard?

The joys of modern technology, dear Val, I can go online and see what's goin' on in heartland Amoricka. You could do the same for our beautiful cities too, if you so wished. I wouldn't make nasty posts about you not having been here. But of course, were I to go to Amoricka I would see all the disgraceful rioting and litter and stuff and be instantly transformed. Yes. Indeed.

In the meantimes, can I interest you in a pot of lovely jam?

the internets.... I might've known.
'Nuff said.
you could'nt make nasty posts about me not ever being there, because I don't talk a lot of shit out of the side of my neck about the UK on a constant basis, now do I?
What was that about "facepalmingly stupid generalisations and other silly things that you say"?
You really are a waste of my time, zad, I am not even being challenged slightly; really, I feel like I am picking on a child, so I will stop now.

Your taste for and appreciation of irony is less than your taste for and appreciation of lovely pots of jam. I'll try to remember that America is full of rioting black people when I next tuck into a pot of my lovely jam. If you haven't noticed that my attitude towards you has passed into the less-than-serious, boy, it's a wonder. I will continue to challenge you with my pots of jam, reply if you dare, if not talk about something sensible, like how Eldrig make awesome music despite believing in Nazi occultism.

If writing about music is like dancing about architecture, debating politics with Vally is like eating a chocolate cake whilst in the bath.
JAAAAAAAAAAM! POTS OF IT!

Sounds like you are attempting to wiggle out of looking foolish, to me. Less than serious? bah, I call bullshit. You lefties are nothing if not dead serious about your assertions.
Nice ploy, but, alas, a transparent one.
Irony? Irony is making stupid generalizations about places you've never been to, than accusing another of making stupid generalizations.
Fuck jam.
Ever think that perhaps Eldrig make awseome because of their belief in Nazi occultism? It is a fascinating subject.

Palm Beach ballots are fucked up again.

They have two boxes and people have to scribble in between the two boxes. Some people are just filling in one box or putting a dot between the boxes and those might not get accepted.

You are ridiculous, V. Voting for Barr may have encouraged the Republicans to shift their ideologies towards libertarianism to catch some of Ron Paul's supporters and their dynamic attitudes but instead you just didn't vote. You should revoke all your political opinions if you didn't even vote because then you're just being a stick in the mud and bitching at others.

Not as fascinating as jam. And not nearly as tasty. You stick in the mud, you do.

Haha, you're the one that is ridiculous if you buy into the false two party dichotomy.
I vote for who I believe to be the most honest and patriotic candidate. From what I have seen, that is Ron Paul.
Go ahead and perpetuate the scam known as modern-day American politics, like a good little sheep.

Jam is fascinating. That is, if you are a slope-headed drooling feeb.

I told you to vote for Barr (not a part of the two-party system).

Go ahead and perpetuate your disenfranchisement. I voted for the most progressively liberal candidate in order to one day vote for an entirely socialist candidate; you sat on your ass and let others decide for you. Bitching isn't individualism.

How is voting Ron Paul sitting on my ass and letting others decide for me? Just the opposite. You vote blind party line, which means you are voting for a liar. Fact check, son. They are both dishonest lying scum, and you think voting for one liar over another is being progressive? hahaha! Baaa, baaaa!
I've got a couple more hours til the polls close, my wife is out right now, I'll be next. Ron Paul. Screw Barr.

You want to live in an entirely socialist country?
Having everything provided for you by the goverment? Being entirely relaint on government? sad, very sad. Liberals are like children that way; they think everything should be given to them on a silver platter. A nationwide welfare state... ooohhh, how appealing.
Any government big enough and powerful enough to give you everything is a government big enough to take it all away.

I'm guessing you live on the west coast. I'm guessing you can still vote. :lame:

I could've voted for Brian Moore but where would that have got me? Actually, I'm pretty self-sufficient and really don't need government to take care of me. I want government to help those who need it and maybe distribute that ninety percent of wealth that one percent of the populace control. I don't want everything equal because that is impractical. I want that range between extremes to be a lot smaller.

Yeah, West Coast, Nor Cal. I disagree with redistribution of wealth. egalatarianism is unnatural. Some are better off than others, that's life. If one works hard there is no reason why one can't make a decent living.
There are numerous programs already set up to help the so-called disadvantaged.
Seriously the two party facade is scam; the same exact promises and declarations have been made by every single candidate for the last thirty years, at least. Nothing ever really changes.
Ever wonder why?

Two party systems do suck. I would love to have a runoff election.

I know some others are more likely to be successful and others aren't; that is capitalism. Everyone, not just one percent, should make decent livings and be comfortable. In America, "the greatest, best country God has ever given man on the face of the Earth", everyone should have access to healthcare, college education and a decent paying job. There is no difference between having 100 million dollars or a billion dollars so why does having that extra 900 million dollars have to go to one person.

Greed.
Which, of course sucks, too.
I hate materialism.

I wonder how many write-in votes Paul will get.

If Obama gets Oregon, Hawaii and California (all of which I think are locked in), he wins.

So Obama got it.

Ron Paul always seemed like that dorky kid growing up who always said 'don't do that you'll get us in trouble'.
