i went into this expecting black metal (or at least something black metalish) and was surprised to hear they've gone in a totally old school death metal direction with fuzzy production, a couple more melodic riffs, and those vocal lines that i just want to scream/growl along to. not sure how much i'll listen to it though since i haven't been into death metal lately ;_;

yeah, you can tell it's the same band there's just very little black metal in their sound now
