I used to hate Machine Head. Then The Blackening happened. Now I respect Machine Head.

I don't have The Blackening, so I can't comment on that.

The only album of theirs I have is Burn My Eyes, and after all this I still dust it off and listen to it here and there. It's a damn good album. Being that I haven't heard any of their other stuff, I guess that means I like them...

I never was a big Machine Head Fan, but the Blackening is great. Even though the songs are a little bit long. :D

The Blackening is really good, but there are some big flaws that hold it back. I think if they can continue with the Blackening sound and tighten it up a bit, they'll really release something amazing.

Try to get the Metallica "no life til leather" demos. There is the Metallica version of the Mechanix. :)
