I know you can get bywar albums from this site,

www.hellsheadbangers.com

That's where I got mine.

Really good site. Heaps of thrash, death, black, the whole thing. Lots of underground shit I never heard of as well, which is good.

Yeah, I agree!

I've been rocking out to the thrash lately even more than usual. It just seems like I don't feel like listening to anything but thrash for like the last 3 weeks. (normally i mix it up a bit)

So anyway, bought a couple more albums as well.

Sodom - Sodom
Celtic Frost - To Mega Therion (Does that count? It has thrashy songs.)
Onslaught - Killing Peace (Anybody else got this? Fucking KILLER comeback record from the band eveyone thought was dead)

Well, imo Onslaught's Killing Peace is just very dissapointing uninspired modern thrash. The Force is in my top 5 thrash albums ever, and in Search of Sanity was still pretty much ok.

The only one out of their old albums which I have is The Force. Now, I appreciate how good the songs are on it, but the production is undeniably shithouse and it lessens the effect of the album as a whole.

Anyway, when I heard Killing Peace I was just so impressed by that Andy Sneap trademark crunchyness that I couldn't resist, so I've been listening to it a lot, and the songs have all weasled their way into my brain.

Born into religion AND A THIRD. WORLD. WAR!

SPITTING BLOOD IN THE FACE OF GOOOOODDDD!!!!!

If you mean 2007's Killing Peace, then yeah, that's what we were just talking about.

If you mean a new, upcoming, post-Killing Peace album, then I haven't heard anything about it, and consider me excited.

Also, if that's the case, link me to wherever you read about it.

Post-Killing Peace. I shall look for a link right now.

EDIT - I just googled "new onslaught album" and found this: http://www.metalunderground.com/news/de ... wsid=37819

They say it's 666% pure thrash.

......Fuck. Yes.

"with Andy Rosser-Davies now in the band there's gonna be lots of fresh input and a slightly different slant to the 'Slaught'...He's a very aggressive player, very much like me, so the musical violence is gonna be increased considerably...with serious amounts of shredding.......!!!!!"

I likes what I hears.

Good work DevotedWalnut, I award you 10 points.

Alright, so, this is really stupid, but I just put in a big Amazon order.

It's stupid because with the new global economic conditions, the Australian dollar is now worth 66 U.S. cents instead of 95, which is what it was worth 6 months ago.

Which means this is a REALLY expensive order for me. But I couldn't help myself, and now it's done, so whatever. You can add these titles to my list:

Realm - Endless War
Toxik - Think This
Hexen - State of Insurgency
Head-On Collision - Ritual Sacrifice
Hirax - The New Age of Terror
Testament - The Gathering
Tankard - Beauty and the Beer.

So yes, DW, I will finally have a tankard CD.

Of all the new Tankard albums, you get that one.

The best one of them all. Plus the rest of that list seems pretty friggin good.

Yeah, I knew I wanted one with a decent production, so it was always gonna be a more recent one.

And a little googling seemed to indicate that was the most universally liked one.

Well, every Tankard album sounds the same production wise. Beast of Bourbon is also quite good, B-Day and Kings of Beer are good fun thrash same with Disco Destroyer. But then you could of gotten Zombie Attack and the production would of been fine to.

Tankard = most consistent band ever

It's a little pricey, but it's the first ever site that I found Morbid Saint at.
