Ew Zad. Why did you waste such good writing on this album? You put so much effort into the narrative that I guess I will have to check this out.

You're putting yourself under fire here, Zad... :P

Seriously, though... at the risk of losing my own credibility, I'll say I found this album surprisingly enjoyable. It just rocks, period. I personally didn't like their first two albums much... but a couple of songs from 10000 Fists did get a good amount of spinning time for me. It was a major step up and Indestructible is another step up for them. A lot seem to like this one less than the previous but I personally think the opposite. Indestructible is much more focused... and somehow I feel Draiman has improved quite a bit vocally. Detractors and elitists will complain for its mainstream status but either way, it's a good album from a mainstream band.

On a side note... for the North-Americans here, I just think the ressemblance between David Draiman and Howie Mandel is just uncanny and quite hilarious (link below).

The worst part about that comparison is that Howie Mandel looks more masculine of the two.

I personally didn't like the way the review was presented at all. You should avoid using such a style in the future, Zad.

:lame: to the both of you. It's not like there are people out there that don't know what Disturbed sound like, and I said plenty about how it sounded: "Hard Rock, Modern Metal", firstly, then in the review itself I even mentioned the monkey noises! Pah, can't please anyone.

Considering there are a lot of people out there that refer to Disturbed as nu-metal, I'd have to disagree there.

I don't really care. Its well written and I didn't feel like my time was wasted having read it. But its worthless as an album review. Its basically "I liked it 84/100"
If your intention was to say that in as many nice sounding words as possible, congratulations.

As far as my opinion of the album...I liked it, 75/100

In other words, it's got Modern Metally, sort of Nu but not really riffing, guitar solos, and a bit of electronica in there too. Again, does anyone need to be told what Disturbed sound like? The point of the review was that it's fun, catchy music that even gets black metal vampires rocking out.

Much more informative than your previous review. I might pick up the album now. Thank you.

But all that's pretty obvious from the review, if you read it properly! Were you unaware of Disturbed's musical style, pray tell?

Sorry, I just don't think it's a proper way to write a review. Nothing personal.

Sorry, I think you can't call THAT a review .
The score was the only solid information you gave.
I liked their song that's on Guitar Hero III (can't remember it's name, though...maybe...Stripped?), so I think I should listen to the rest of this CD
:dio:

I'd bet you are not going to do it.
But I wanna lose, just to read it
