am i alone in thinking this makes no sense?

Particularly because thrash is mainly the rhythm section. The uffta beat, the staccato riffs...

and also the righteous thrash ATTITUDE. Which Trivium(or BFMV) most certainly lack.

Shadows Fall are ten times better than Trivium.

I'm listening to music - not to attitude. There are many new thrash bands like Warbringer or Fueled By Fire, but they have all the tendency, like Kreator, Destruction or Exodus, to get boring with the time, because the songs are very similar. I mean, even Reign in Blood, ist not that varied - if you are honest....

I'm listening thrash for fast and heavy music. But I can't listen to Slayer, Sodom, Destruction, Kreator or so all the day. Trivium or Metallica or Megadeth are making it a little more varied.

What makes you so upset, YOU FUCKING STUPID IGNORANT ASSCLOWN!

Can anybody explain, what's s FUCKING WRONG with this statement:

Trivium, Shadows Fall and Bullet for my Valentine combining the old school 80s Thrash sound with modern melodies and very catchy vocals in the chorus or verse.

They are not like other Metalcore bands like Killswitch, because they have more thrash influence and they are not like other Emo bands, because the music is heavyer.

IT'S THE FUCKING TRUTH!!!

Hahaha you compare gay shit like Bullet For My Valentine to thrash metal and then you get upset because people bash you.

Yes! Because they apparently don't know what thrash metal actually is and how it can sound. It has not to be like Slayer or Kreator or Exodus - and even these bands have a very different sound. And btw. nobody said that BfmV or Trivium are 100% thrash. And even Slayer and early Kreater are not 100% thrash, because they have also a lot of Death Metal riffs in their mix. Songs like Praise Of Death or Ripping Corpse are not just usual thrash. Or what about Megadeth? Especially on Killing is my business, but also on Peace Sells, are many non-thrash parts.

Oh, and what do you suppose Death Metal evolved from, Mr. Expert on Thrash Metal and How it Sounds Like? Yeah maybe there's some thrash parts in Trivium and BFMV, like 1% thrash and 99% gay, wich would make them something like gay metalcore with occasional thrash riffs, and for the latter I could even give them the Emo tag because I saw them opening for Iron Maiden and they have the look, the fans and the crappy music that goes with it.

Don't you think Wsx speaks so much about the gay that he must be one?

The usual gay argument.

Well, everything in you neanderthal macho attitude points to this fact... And it's also known that most womanizers (as you claim yourself to be) are, in fact, suppressed gay men.
As for me, I do not have the honor to be gay, just gay friendly...

More gay-friendly, cock-loving propaganda. It's all bullshit. It's been made up by accepting-gay loving everyone people like you to try and turn the table on normal neanderthal macho dudes like me who have sex with lots of women and drink lots of beer. But you'll have to do better than that, 'cause I've already heard this stuff before, and still I can't find anything that beats a hot pussy and a cold beer.

I enjoy BMFV (there is some musical value to it, IMO) but I'm not stupid enough to call it thrash.

And if you want to discuss Wsx26's possible homophobia, please create an appropriate thread in Helheim.

Octa is currently in a basement on an old Power Macintosh creating the worlds best raw black metal album in midi format.

I always enjoyed his input as well. HE LEFT US.

First of all, the list was very short. And from this albums:
Annihilator - Alice in Hell
Anthrax - Fistful of Metal
Death Angel - The Ultra-Violence
Exodus - Bonded By Blood

I know only some songs from Bonded By Blood.

BUT I know very well some other albums like:

Kreator - Pleasure to Kill, Extreme Aggression, Terrible Certainty, Violent Revolution, Enemy of God
Destruction - All Hell breaks Loose, Inventor of Evil, Devolution
Anthrax - Among the Living, Volume 8, We've Come for You All
Sacred Reich - Independent
Dark Angel - Darkness Descents
Annihilator - Set the World on Fire
Testament - Practice what you preach, The Gathering, The New Order, The Formation of Damnation
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
Exodus - Fabulous Desaster, Tempo of the Damned, Shovel Headed Kill Machine, The Atrocity Exhibition
Sepultura - Chaos AD, Roots, Against
The Haunted - Made Me Do It, One Kill Wonder
Hatesphere - The Sickness Within
Legion of the Damned - Feel the Blade, Sons of the Jackal
Machine Head - The Blackening
all from Megadeth
all from Metallica
all from Sodom
all from Slayer
and many others

But they unfortunately they were not on this list...
