So, which is it for you?

I would say that you should vote not for which of these you like best, but which one works the best as a debut album, the album that let everyone know what they were about, and what they do.

That should cover everything from song writing, to production, to the way it represents them as a band.

It's a really, really tough call for me here.

I'm going to put a vote in for Bonded By Blood, but let it be known that if I voted tomorrow it might not have been the same result.

Yeah. Slayer's wasn't indicative of their later work, Metallica's was plain NWOBHM worship + speed, Anthrax ripped everyone else off, and whilst BBB was great it isn't nearly the pissed-off, alcholerised FUCK YOU that Killing... is.

I put Kill Em All but BbB is a close second. I wish I've heard Dark Angel 'We Have Arrived' to see if that would garner my vote.

Destruction, Sodom, Kreator, Coroner...
Well, of the listed ones, my vote goes to Exodus.

Its gotta be Bonded by Blood, one of the greatest thrash albums ever and Exodus' best by far. Second place would go to Kill Em All, and third to Show No Mercy. Though Feel the Fire should definitely be on here.

Of all the ones you mentioned i would go with Bonded By Blood, Slayer or Metallica would be a closed second.

Endless Pain!

Out of those, probably Show No Mercy.

I had been debating with myself between Slayer and Exodus.

Slayer- Show No Mercy

That's my vote...

I went with Ultra-Violence.

But Metallica and/or Exodus is right behind.

And I 2nd (or 3rd?) the Overkill WTF statement.

From this list I only know really well Killing is my Business, Show no Mercy and Kill em All.

And from this three I would rate KEA as the best, then Show no Mercy and then Killing is my Business.

I like all three bands, but Megadeths Debut is beside The World needs a Hero my least favourite Megadeth. I don't know. It just sounds a little bit too wild and confusing and even the remastered version has a mediocre sound. Slayer and Metallica's debuts are more mature and from this two, KEA wins, because it has more good songs and classic hits. I mean, there are some bands who wished they've had at least one hit in their whole carreer, while Metallica had several instant classics on their debut.

i hesitate between Eternal Nightmare, the Legacy,Forbidden Evil and Doomsday for the Deceiver, but oh,wait a minute! they're not on the list.
Then i'll have to go with The Ultra Violence which is a tremendously underrated thrash classic.

It was a hard choice between Megadeth and Exodus but I'll have to go with Bonded By Blood since I think it's the greatest thrash album ever made. I've never liked Metallica's stuff very much but their first album is definitly their best one even if they ripped off Dave Mustaine, other than that Kreator's Endless Pain was a fucking great debut too, so was Overkill's Feel The Fire and Vio-Lence's Eternal Nightmare but they're not on the list.

Yeah, yeah, they ripped off Mustaine, except they did the songs with him and he is credited.
And, well, they ripped off Exodus too, except that Kirk just left with some of his material...
Come on! Seriously, that was stupid of you Wsx26!
