I know, they're pn my list. But I didn'tfind them to a descent price when I was out shopping. But I heard some store got a thrash-campaign going. Me like. I got way to little thrash in my collection.

As I was reading your list the first thing that came to mind was Tankard. But at least you are getting some essentials now.

I guess I should point out that I also got around to getting my first few thrash DVDs recently as well.

Metallica - Cunning Stunts. As a Tallica freak, this rocks my shit. Creeping Death fucking explodes out of the speakers in 5.1, tearing me a new face (however that works).

Kreator - At the Pulse of Kapitulation. Fucking AWESOME. Would have been good to get some songs off coma of souls, but this is already so good that I can't complain. (it was filmed prior to the release of that classic)

Testament - Live in London. Chuck Billy and Alex Skolnick are every bit as awesome live as they are on record. And a very nice last hurrah for Louie Clemente on drums before Bostaph takes over. He gives a great performance.

Megadeth - That One Night: Live in Buenos Aires. After the other three shows, this one felt slightly underwhelming for some reason. I think its just that Megadeth is easily my least favourite band out of these 4 bands. Still, Dave puts on a great show all over his fretboard, and again, sounds awesome in 5.1.

All in all, great stuff. Thrash isn't so popular here in Aus, so I'm pretty grateful to get these ones so readily available in stores. Now if only I could get my hands on an awesome Exodus dvd, i'd be set.
