There's a big difference between hating this country in general and hating what's going on in this country right now.

Everyone lies; all politicians are liars. Therefore Obama is a liar as is every other single politician. I vote for Obama for his views on policies and his ability to lead a country. If I wanted an honest personality, I'd vote for Bill Cosby or Ben Stein.

How can you trust a known liar?

compare the oppurtunity and freedom and (potential) standard of living here to that of Kenya, or any African nation, where the average life expectancy is significantly less than in the U.S.

Africa actually is one of, if not THE, richest continents in regards to natural resources. They should be thriving.
Instead, Haiti, Detroit, Zimbabwe, etc. all fester and broil in crime, poverty, squalor and disease; why? I can't answrer that, but it ain't Whitey's fault.
