Yep, we'll have to wait and see for the studio stuff. Still, I can't say I'm excited for this album- I expect it'll be like the past two Megadeth albums for me, in that I'll like two or three songs and pass on the rest. Oh well, no more St. Angerness= Happy Brahm by default.

Yea, we'll wait an see. My expectations=zero.

Honestly, they should just change their name and do their thing. That would be ok.

its on their myspace... sounds like its taken straight out of load/reload. If you like that, you'll praobably like this. I found it pretty boring.

Anyone suggesting this is straight out of Load/Reload isn't listening, or they don't know shit about Load and Reload. Not saying it's not got similarities, because it does. On the surface, it's like a mix of the black album and Load and Reload. But there is definitely some early Metallica in this, and there's some new Metallica in the mix, certain colors and styles they've never done before.

The average fan that doesn't listen to music, and just hits play, is going to say things like it's a Load leftover. Pffft. Not at all.

Change their name and do their thing? Why don't they do their thing and you fuck off? That sounds more appropriate.

What the fuck is your problem? Get of your high horse, and stop believing you are better than everyone on listening to music. Why don't you let people have their opinions and fuck off?

It does start like a load/reload song but then turns into something that wouldn't sound out of place in master of puppets. And the solo is just damn awesome. This is definitely getting my hopes up.

The main riff sounds very similiar to the mid-section of To Live is Too Die. I guess Metallica has been channeling the soul of Cliff Burton for inspiration.
the part before the solo is Loadish and as well as Garage Inc.. Cyanide does the same thing. The guitar solo is awesome. Its sounds a little bit like 80s hardcore punk, mixed with noise rock, mixed with classic Metallica, and a small touch of Maiden.

Here we go again, the capitalist music fan thinks his opinion matters more because he buys more albums.

That's how I feel about the song too. The softer parts also remind me of the mid section in To Live Is To Die. James' vocals sound a lot like they did on the first CD of Garage, Inc.

i think the solo has an overall ...and justice for all feel to it.
i was thinking of the merciful fate medley as far as the vocals go cause of the sense of energy i get from last part before the solo. Can't wait for the more heavier songs.

Yeah I think it is. Remember Tomorrow isn't that solid of a song when performed by Di'Anno and I think Metallica's is better.

Definitely. The guitars on the Maiden version didn't have the punch, obviously since it was 1980, and the vocals pretty much sucked.

The Anthrax cover is the best I have ever heard. And I like the original better.

Don't get me wrong. It is one of my favorite Maiden songs and the Anthrax cover is solid. The Metallica version is the best though. Kirk Hammett took that riff and made it so awesome.

Dare I say that the drumming in the middle of The Day That Never Comes is really cool but James' vocals are nasty in a bad way before the epic solo that is so so good.

It may because I am crazy and all, but I like James singing on this one. It just fits. He's not trying to be something he's not/once was. he's just being himself now, and I like it. I usually cringe at James nowadays, but this song doesn't do that to me.

James has definitely got his shit together. When I saw them live last month he gave a great performance. He didn't go with his usual UU YEEAHHS and shitty country like singing.

What?! Isn't that solid of a song?! you seriously need to listen it again because Di'Anno owns that song, look im not saying that is a bad cover because it isnt, in fact is a killer cover, Metallica has always made awesome covers and this is no exception, but better than the original? hell no.
